Hoosier New NEAT Girl?

It’s that time again! We are so excited to introduce to you our new lanch class. Over the next week you’ll meet four new girls joining the NEAT family. First up Sarah Davis is taking over the Indianapolis market. Read more about her to find out why she’s the perfect addition!

NM :: Welcome Sarah! Tell us – what make you want to run NEAT Indy?
SD :: After working as a NEAT organizer for the past year, I have had the pleasure of not only working for this inspiring
company but getting to know so many Hoosier families and helping to make their homes NEAT. When the opportunity
was presented to run the Indy market, it was an automatic YES! I love getting to see the smiles on our clients faces
when they see the transformation and how much we are able to help people live a more organized lifestyle.

NM :: What did you do before NEAT?
SD :: After college I moved to Chicago and worked on the last season of The Oprah Winfrey Show which was a dream. After the show ended, I transitioned into the production side, working for her network for 4 years before moving back to Indy. I worked in advertising for three years before making the move to NEAT!

NM :: How long have you lived in Indy?
SD :: I am a born and raised Hoosier, but moved to Chicago after graduating IU. I lived there for four years before moving back to Indy with my husband. We’ve been back for about 4.5 years!

NM :: What makes your Indy unique?
SD :: Indianapolis is the perfect midwest city with the friendliest of people and a small town vibe with big city opportunities. There are several neighborhoods surrounding the city that allow for strong, close-knit communities. Indy is known to be one of the best places to raise a family, and what better place to have our services, where families can depend on our team to make their lives a little more NEAT?

NM :: What are your go-to places to shop in the city?
SD :: I’m a lover of all things Nordstrom and Roman & Leo for our son (the cutest little boy clothes!). Silver in the City is a super cute local gift shop with all sorts of fun knick knacks and my obsession for candles has me in love with Penn & Beech which is an adorable local shop that specializes in custom scents that you can make right there in the store.

NM :: What about your favorite places to eat?
SD :: To be honest, it is super easy to stay close to home for dinners out, especially with a little one. Our go to family spot is the Mexican joint down the street, Red Habanero. Best queso, and even better margaritas! When we are feeling adventurous or it’s a date night, we like to venture downtown to The Eagle for some of the best fried chicken sandwiches you’ll ever have, or Bluebeard in Fountain Square which has an amazing atmosphere and yummy drinks!

NM :: We’d love to see your most organized space in your home! Can you show us?
SD :: I’m super proud of these drawers in our kitchen buffet, which I just organized over Christmas break. Here we store our seasonal cloth napkins and placemats. It’s super easy to keep these drawers organized since we only swap these out once a season. And it’s too tall for the kiddo to destroy 🙂

NM :: What about your least organized space? What the heck happened there?
SD :: I’d have to go with our “play area” in the basement. Everyone near and dear to me knows how much I like to keep a tidy house, but for the life of me I cannot keep this space organized! I’ll blame it on the little guy and hope that someday he will appreciate a tidy space as much as I do and want to keep the toys in their respective cubbies. Until then…

NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
SD :: Continuing to meet all of the awesome Hoosiers that are looking for NEAT spaces in their home. Whether it be the amazing clients that we get to help, or the talented local businesses that we get to collaborate with, getting to work with and help such amazing people on a daily basis is what truly makes this business so unique.

NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
SD :: Think of me as a friend coming in to take a load off your plate and make your life just a little bit easier. My team and I will strive to meet your needs and exceed your expectations, all while having some fun along the way. Life can get crazy and I know as much as the next person that the first thing that gets put on the back burner is your own personal spaces. Let us take care of that for you, so that you can focus on all the other stuff 🙂 I promise, your things will be in great hands with the NEAT Indy girls!

NM :: Anything else you think we need to know?
SD :: I am just so thrilled to be here and continue to grow NEAT Method here in Indy. If we haven’t met yet, I look forward to doing so in the near future and making your home just a little NEATer!

Well, we are so excited to have you Sarah! We cannot wait to see how you grow the Indy market. Welcome to the NEAT fam!

xx
