New Launch | Northern Virginia
If you've been following us for a while you know that Washington DC is one of our longest standing and largest markets. Because of this, we're dividing the market into smaller sections. We'd love to introduce you to the owner of the first new portion of that market.
Please welcome Lauren Sadlon of Northern Virginia. We are thrilled she’s a part of the team. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.
NM :: Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?
LS :: This is my home and I love the idea of helping people feel great in their home!
NM :: What did you do before you NEAT?
LS :: I’ve been home with my daughter for the past 5 years, spending my free time teaching boot camp fitness classes for moms and volunteering in the community! Prior to that I was a marketing consultant for a software company that specialized in email marketing for restaurants.
NM :: What makes your city unique?
LS :: Northern Virginia has SO much history (we live only 5 miles from George Washington’s home in Mount Vernon) and are so close to the Nation’s capital. There’s amazing dining and shopping along with a really cool mix of unique Old Town areas along with brand new construction all over the area.
NM :: How long have you lived in your city?
LS :: I have lived in Northern Virginia for almost 20 years! We have been in our neighborhood in Alexandria for almost 3 years and prior to that we were in Arlington.
NM :: What are your favorite places to shop in your city?
LS :: Boutiques in Old Town Alexandria, Anthropologie, Nordstrom Rack and Undeniable Boutique in Mosaic District.
NM :: What are your favorite places to eat in your city?
LS :: Pizzeria Paradiso, Hank’s Oyster Bar, Landini Brothers, The Warehouse and Virtue Feed & Grain in Old Town Alexandria; Carlyle and Ser in Arlington, Randy’s Prime Steakhouse in Tysons Corner and L’Auberge Chez Francois in Great Falls.
NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
LS :: I am definitely excited about meeting new people and getting to know the other NEAT girls across the country!
NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
LS :: They can expect me to bring my A-game and fun personality who will get the job DONE! I’m 100% committed to clients and can’t wait to bring my passion and professionalism into their home.
NM :: Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?
LS :: I love to sing - I’m terrible with deciphering song lyrics, but you can always find me singing along!
NM :: What business do you admire and why?
LS :: Any local small business - I know that it takes a lot of work, time and money to run a business and I really admire my friends who sacrifice so much to make it happen.
Welcome Lauren! We are so thrilled you're part of the family now. We can't wait to see how you make Northern Virginia NEAT!
xx
