Rochester, NEAT has arrived!
We are clearly in a New York state of mind recently! We figured Manhattan couldn't be the only place in NY getting NEAT this year…the time has come for the upstate area to receive a little NEAT love as well! Welcome NEAT Method Rochester! We feel really lucky to not only have found one, but TWO incredible women, to join us in the Finger Lakes. These two ladies have some of the best energy and excitement we've ever seen. Please join us in welcoming, Lisa Erdle and Dina Madigan, our newest NEAT IOPs!
NM :: Hi ladies! Tell us a bit more about why you wanted to run NEAT in Rochester!
Lisa & Dina :: We each have three busy kids and spouses that work many hours so we fully understand the need for organizational systems. We both agree that family comes first, but it is not possible to enjoy and be present with your family when you are disorganized, can’t find things, running late and generally stressed. We are excited to take our experience in running well organized homes to implementing systems for others so they can spend more time doing what they love.
NM :: What makes Rochester special?
Lisa & Dina :: Rochester, New York is unique for its natural beauty. We are surrounded by the finger lakes which provides a beautiful landscape all year long. The fall is an absolute must see if you have never been.
NM :: What did you do before you ran NEAT?
Lisa & Dina :: Both of us were stay-at-home moms!
NM :: How long have you lived in Rochester?
Lisa & Dina :: Lisa was born and raised in Rochester and Dina has lived here for 5 years.
NM :: What are your favorite places to shop in your city?
Lisa & Dina :: One of our favorite places local shops is Arena’s. They have an amazing selection of European flowers as well as an impeccably curated collection of home goods. Another favorite is Wegmans, a local grocery store. For those who are not in the northeast if you ever are you must make a trip. There really is no other grocery store like it. The fresh produce, the seafood, dry aged meats and amazing cheeses make you want to cook – and eat!
We have fun at our local West Elm for all of the fun and easy to use accessories. They are a great resource for organizing items as well as seasonal accessories that you want to change. We also love our local Breathe Yoga and Juice. You can take a hot yoga glass, get a green juice and a pair of Paige Jeans all in one stop.
NM :: What are your favorite places to eat in your city?
Lisa & Dina :: One of our favorite spots to eat is Next Door Bar and Grill (owned by Wegmans). They have amazing sushi and great wine selection. The Erie Grill is another great spot on the canal featuring lots of locally sourced foods with a great aesthetic. Branca is a great go to place for wood-fired pizza and a glass of wine. And our friends own an iconic place called The Pittsford Pub & Grille. It is a perfect spot to take your family after a game or meet friends for one of their many great beers.
NM :: Show us a picture of your most organized space and tell us what it is?
Lisa :: My favorite organized spaces are in my kitchen. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and opening up neatly organized drawers gives me infinite joy. I also really like the beverage refrigerator to look like a hotel bar. Everything lined up!
Dina :: My favorite organized space is easily the pantry!
NM :: Wow! Those are NEAT! 🙂 What are some of your favorite products?
Lisa & Dina :: We have lots of favorite organizing products. We love anything lucite. Love love love trays! And can’t walk away from a nice turn table.
NM :: What can clients expect from working with the Rochester NEAT team?
Lisa & Dina :: When someone hires us they can expect efficiency, professionalism, and respect for their time and home spaces. We treat our clients' homes as if they were our own!
NM :: Last question, any hidden talents or fun facts?
Lisa :: Dina can do the splits!
Dina :: Lisa is fluent in Spanish!
NM :: Wow! That's impressive you two! We're so excited to have you both on the team and look forward to Rochester becoming even more NEAT! Rochester, feel free to reach out to Lisa & Dina!
