A NEAT Girl Moves and Launches our 16th Market!
Most people remember when they turned, "Sweet 16" and this will certainly be true for NEAT. Today, we are happy to share that our next market to launch is…..
That's right! Naples, Florida. This location is particularly special to us because the NEAT girl that is running this market, happens to have already been a part of the NEAT family… Read our interview to find out the latest…
NM:: Alright, the time has finally come to share with our readers all about you! Can you give us the basics first?
JB:: My name is Joyce Beers, I am originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania which is 25 miles north of Philadelphia. I spent the last 20 years in the midwest (Indiana and Ohio) and I just moved to Naples, Florida last week. My husband and I are avid golfers so we are in heaven down here! We have a dog named Asti and a cat named Chip who are just as happy to have moved south as we are! We like to travel to visit our families in Charlotte and back home to Philly, but I have a feeling now that we are in Florida they will be coming to visit us. Since we are restaurant owners, we naturally love to entertain our friends with great food, good wine, and lively conversation every chance we get.
NM:: Thanks, Joyce! Everyone has been waiting to hear your story with NEAT. You did not recently hear about us like most of our new cities. Tell us about your journey with NEAT.
JB:: I started working for NEAT in Columbus, Ohio with my friend, Julia a year and a half ago. She was launching her new business there and when she told me about how NEAT helps people by transforming their homes (and sometimes lives) into well ordered spaces, I knew I would fit right in. In that time, I have grown my organizational skills, and turned my love for clutter free, efficient, and stylish spaces into a passion I want to share with anyone and everyone that I can. I enjoyed every minute of my time working in Columbus and will miss all the fun I had with Julia and the Columbus NEAT team. So once we decided to move, I just had to bring NEAT with me to Naples!
NM:: We will be honest, when Julia mentioned to us that you were moving and interested, we may have let out a small squeal of delight 😉
NM:: Okay, so many of our readers that have been following the NEAT life for a while now know that we are already in two markets in Florida. Why do you think Naples needs NEAT and what can they expect from you?
JB:: Much like myself, there are many people in the Naples and Marco Island area who are transitional. Either they are moving to the area full time from large homes up north, and trying to downsize. Or, are in their Florida home only part of the year. It can be challenging to feel “settled” and no one wants to spend their precious Florida time inside rearranging their cabinets and closets. That is where I come in! I can provide an efficient system for their whole house or just a pantry / closet facelift so that all of their belongings inside the cabinets and on the shelves look as beautiful as the rest of the home.
NM:: It's no secret that we love organizational products. Can you tell us a favorite of yours that we should all be adding to our wishlist?
JB:: My current “crush” at my favorite online shop, theorganizingstore.com is the Amelia Magazine Baskets (set of 4) by IMAX. But it was hard to pick just one thing!!
NM:: Ooooooh! Good choice – it looks like the perfect product for your Florida clients!
NM:: Where do you find inspiration for organizing homes?
JB:: My favorite magazine to shop for inspiration is Dwell. Like NEAT, they have such a fresh approach to homes and feature great spaces.
NM:: Speaking of great spaces, what is your favorite space that NEAT has completed?
JB:: It was hard to pick just one (once again) BUT this closet is EVERYTHING. Who could resist those hats?!
NM:: We agree, that space is amazing. Lucky for you, you will have the pleasure of owning many hats since you are officially a resident of the sunshine state. We are so happy you will be running your very own market for NEAT and look forward to all of your success in Naples!
xx
