Join us on a DAYCATION!
We can’t help but notice that everyone is already talking about back to school! Although we like to be organized for everything, there is nothing the NEAT girls love more than soaking up every ounce of summer that we can get. With that said, we thought we would share some simple, last minute (gasp!) DAYcations to take in all of our NEAT cities!
First up is the glorious city of Chicago. Besides keeping Chicago organized, Ashley loves heading up to the Terrace at Trump Tower. Whether you are looking to enjoy the view or a nice refreshing cocktail, the Terrace has it all including some of the best people watching in the city!
Speaking of good people watching…if you are in South Florida and your house is looking as well kept as Marissa’s, check out the Soho Beach House. Besides being one of the hottest spots in Miami, it also has an amazing spa and has quickly become one of Marissa’s favorite spots to have NEAT meetings. We can see why!
If you love the idea of the spa at the beach house but enjoy a bit less humidity, NEAT has you covered in San Diego. Katie’s favorite place to unwind after moving a client is La Costa. She recommends taking full advantage of their spa!
Looking for a little more activity to end the summer? Head up to the Twin Cities with Lauren and she’s got the perfect DAYcation planned. Lake Harriet is where you will find a day filled with amazing walking/running paths, food trucks in case you get hungry and a free movie in the park on a warm summer night.
If you are already excited for school to begin. Warm up by heading to Washington D.C.. Catherine and Raelynn have an amazing educational day planned at George Washington’s Estate in Mount Vernon. While at this historic landmark, don’t forget to check out the distillery and restaurant on site! On the way home, they insist you drive through Old Town Alexandria; you simply can’t beat the shopping and who wouldn’t indulge in one last drink?
Speaking of one last drink. Molly and Heather suggest you hike and then celebrate at one of the best kept secrets in San Francisco – the Tourist Club! Do not let the name fool you, this German chalet serves beer in the middle of the woods – the trick is, you have to know someone who can get you there. Once you work up a sweat on a long hike, enjoy a tasty cold one and enjoy the views!
We hope you are enjoying every last bit of your summer! For more tips on things to do in Chicago, South Florida, San Diego, the Twin Cities, Washington D.C. or San Francisco, feel free to email your local NEAT girl. If you don’t hear back from us right away, we are likely enjoying a DAYcation of our own!
