Splurge vs. Save – How to Create a NEAT Space for Every Budget
Organizing can make your house look like a million bucks BUT that doesn't mean you have to spend a million. We have become experts at working within our client's budgets so today, we are going to give you the details on how to splurge and save in particular places throughout your home. First up is the dirtiest NEAT job out there… the garage! We certainly know how to splurge in this space by saying two words, "Fusion Wall." This system is great because it can be adjusted and changed as the needs of your family changes.
Alternatively, by purchasing bakers racks and bins, you can also make a large imact on how you store things in your garage for a fraction of the price.
Spending a lot in a child's closet is sometimes hard to justify. When you do decide to go with a custom closet, it certainly can look really, REALLY good!
Our own NEAT girl, Mika opted to purchase this affordable ikea shelving unit instead and it looks fabulous in her daugther's room!
When it comes to hangers, it's surprising how much you can spend on the perfect place to keep your pants wrinkle free. These are some of the pricier ones we have worked with.
This next space looks equally as great but the hangers are three times less!
Finally, one of our favorite places to organize in a kitchen pantry. The quickest way to spend money fast is on these oxo containers. They are AMAZING but also quite expensive.
If you want to get that NEAT look for less, consider using some bins to categorize like items instead of putting them in individual containers. Then only use the oxo for things that truly need their own space.
What are you splurging/saving on in your home?
