New NEAT City | Long Island

It’s that time again! Launch week. This week we are launching new franchise owners and new markets! Let’s dive in to see who our new additions are.

We want to welcome Donna Gryboski of Long Island, New York. We are thrilled she’s a part of the team. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.

NM :: Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?

DG :: I love everything about NEAT. Life is so much better when it is NEAT. NEAT to me brings peace and calmness, a clear head. I cannot wait to bring this way of life to Long Island and clients I truly care about.

NM :: What did you do before NEAT?

DG :: My NEAT life began 20 years ago when I opened a small business called The Tidy Room, it was a professional organizing company. I lived in NYC at the time and was transitioning from my corporate Calvin Klein job. For the most part, NYC understood what professional organizing was, unfortunately, when I moved to Long Island, they did not! The timing worked in my favor as I went on to have 3 children. During this time, I began a boutique company called Petite Picasso, where I preserve children’s artwork. This company is still up and running but as my children have grown, I was feeling like I also needed to grow. I interviewed and was hired by a medical technology start-up company as their director of operations. I have been with them now for 4 years. It has been a great learning experience but I really miss using the creative side of my brain. Two years ago I got my real estate license so I could spend my weekends working in a creative field that I have always loved. It has been fulfilling, but when I heard NEAT was accepting applications, I knew this was how all of the parts of my life could come together and be exactly what I have wanted for a long time.

NM :: What makes your city unique?

DG :: Rockville Centre is unique in many ways. We are a large town with a small town feel. We have a population of 25,000 and the average household income is high. Many families have two working adults so the service industry thrives in this village. We are a short train ride from NYC and the ocean so the residents of RVC are always on the go but love to come home to a beautifully kept house. I am excited to offer the NEAT Method to my town and many other Long Island towns that are equally unique!

NM :: How long have you lived in your city?

DG :: I have lived in Rockville Centre for almost 2 years but have had ties to the town for most of my life.

NM :: What are your favorite places to shop in your city?

DG :: I love the downtown area of RVC and all of the cool little shops and boutiques. There is something for everyone in our town and they work hard to keep it that way. A short drive from town but a world away is every big box store you can imagine and would ever need, but I try hard to stay local and support the local businesses.

NM :: What are your favorite places to eat in your city?

DG :: The restaurants in RVC are amazing. People travel from all over the island to RVC for dining and nightlife. My favorite places to eat are the ethnic restaurants. We have every type of food you can think of within a few miles. Dirty Taco is top on my list!

NM :: Show us a picture of your most organized space and tell us what it is.

DG :: My cozy workspace!

NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?

DG :: Meeting new people and becoming part of the business community in our town. Becoming involved and putting myself out there with a great service to bring to the table.

It sounds like you are ready to get Long Island, NEAT! Congratulations! We’re so excited to have you!

xx
